BLACKPINK’s Jennie made history at the 2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025). She became the first soloist to win the Record of the Year Daesang at the ceremony.
The awards took place on December 20 at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome. Jennie’s victory capped a major year for the K-pop star.

BIGBANG star G-Dragon also enjoyed a major night at MMA 2025.
The singer won three of the four Daesang awards. He took home Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Übermensch and Song of the Year for “Home Sweet Home”.
His success followed the release of his first full-length album in more than a decade. The record also enjoyed strong chart performance during the year.
