K-pop boy band BTS is heading to Las Vegas this weekend. The group will headline the highly anticipated 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival, presented by Capital One.
The annual two-day music event will take place on September 18 and 19 at the renowned T-Mobile Arena. It will bring together some of the biggest names in music for two nights of live performances.
Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, this year’s festival features artists from several musical genres. The lineup includes Cardi B, Benson Boone, Kenny Chesney, Ciara, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
BTS will perform on Friday night. Millions of fans around the world have been eagerly waiting to see the group take the stage.
Fans delighted with news
BTS fans, known as ARMY, have expressed excitement about the announcement.
One fan shared their reaction in a comment on the TOPIK Korea Facebook post about the festival.
“That’s a big event with a big-name celebrity here in the USA. I wish I could join the BTS crowd,” the fan wrote.
The festival will also feature rising K-pop group LE SSERAFIM. Their appearance adds another milestone to this year’s event.
LE SSERAFIM will make history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
BTS ‘honored’ to take part
BTS has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform at the festival. The group also thanked its supporters ahead of the major event.
“We are honored to be invited to a festival where amazing artists perform. We are excited as this is an opportunity to introduce our team to many people,” the group said, as quoted by The Chosun Daily.
The members also spoke about their responsibility to deliver an entertaining performance.
“We feel a great sense of responsibility and hope to entertain the audience with a great performance,” they added.
Fans who cannot attend the Las Vegas event can watch the performance online. The festival will stream live on Disney+ and Hulu.
Viewers can also listen to the event through more than 150 iHeartRadio radio stations across the United States.
The live broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time each evening. That is 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
