K-pop pioneers Big Bang returned to the British capital after nearly 14 years on September 26 with a solo concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as part of their 20th-anniversary world tour.
According to the group’s agency, YG Entertainment, the “XX: Cosmos” show marked their first solo appearance in London since 2012 and their debut stage as a trio of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung.
The three did not disappoint with their setlist, which kicked off with their famous 2012 track “Fantastic Baby,” followed by other historic hits like “Bang Bang Bang,” “Loser,” “Haru Haru” and “Lies.”
Big Bang then highlighted their current sound with a performance of their latest single, “BiiiG,” as well as each member’s distinct musical style with a solo stage.
The London show concluded with the trio thanking fans for their support that helped them achieve the 20-year mark they call a “miracle.”
G-Dragon also became emotional during the encore after acknowledging the unexpected influence their music has had worldwide since their debut in 2006.
Before Big Bang’s reunion with British fans, the tour opened with three sold-out shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea in August.
“XX: Cosmos” stopped in Oakland, East Rutherford and Paris before reaching London as part of its September dates.
Tour rolls on as Big Bang’s legacy endures
The world tour is considered the trio’s first massive one in about nine years, and it comes after a widely discussed return to the stage at Coachella 2026.
Following the London stop, “XX: Cosmos” will continue across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia through February.
Two decades after their debut, Big Bang is still among the credited groups that shifted K-pop into a global phenomenon thanks to their noteworthy influence in popular culture, fashion and entertainment.
Additionally, they were the first Korean act to perform in front of a record-breaking crowd in the United Kingdom during their 2012 visit to London.
The group also proved their creativity in the fandom culture after G-Dragon’s proposed handheld yellow crown light stick for the VIP fan community set a template for custom concert merchandise.
