Singer and activist Macklemore announced a benefit concert tour in support of Palestinians on Thursday. The announcement comes after his recent fallout with singer Ed Sheeran.
Macklemore has named the concert series the “Free Palestine Tour.” The shows will support Palestinian humanitarian causes. The initial European leg will include performances in three countries.
Macklemore shared the announcement on Instagram. He said recent events showed that attitudes toward Palestinian liberation had changed.
He also discussed the growing pressure on artists to speak publicly about major global issues. Macklemore said artists should educate themselves and engage with their communities.

“Being apolitical […] doesn’t work anymore”
He said there is growing pressure on artists to “show up” and “educate” themselves, while using their platforms to engage with their communities.
“It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore… What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention,” he wrote.
Macklemore, whose 2024 song “Hind’s Hall” expressed support for Palestinians, said he spent the past week reaching out to artists who had spoken out in solidarity with Palestinians.
“Because of how quickly all of this has come together, a lot of the conversations, schedules and details are still being worked out. But this is a moment of momentum, and there is work to be done. So we’re going on tour,” he said.
Where and when?
The tour will kick off in Dublin on October 26 at 3Arena, followed by a show in Paris on October 29 at Accor Arena. It will conclude its initial European leg in London on October 30 at OVO Arena Wembley.
Macklemore said proceeds from the tour will go directly to organizations supporting Palestinians and Palestinian humanitarian causes.
