Midnite Pays £9K to Southampton, Middlesbrough & Wolves Fans

Southampton, Middlesbrough, and Wolves fans have won a combined £9,000 through Midnite’s ‘2UP’ initiative.

Midnite is the principal partner of Wolves, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield United. It is also the official training-kit partner of Southampton for the 2026/27 season.

The UK bookmaker launched the ‘2UP’ initiative for fans of its partner clubs. Fans can win money when their team takes a two-goal lead in a home league game.

Midnite also adds £1,000 to the prize pot after each home league match.

So far this season, seven fans have won a combined £9,000. Southampton has taken a two-goal lead four times. Middlesbrough has done it twice. Wolves has done it once.

Southampton fans Mel Linter, Dean Brown, Sue Curtis, and Jayden Frankling have each won £1,000.

They all won after Southampton took a two-goal lead in a home league game.

Middlesbrough fan Jane Edmends won £2,000 after Boro beat West Brom 3-1 last month.

Kieran Addison also won £1,000. He collected the prize after Middlesbrough beat Norwich 4-3 in a thrilling match.

Wolves have also produced one winner so far.

Ashley Richards won £2,000 after Wolves beat Stoke 4-1 last month.

Brace yourself

Midnite ran a similar campaign at Bramall Lane last season called ‘Brace Yourself’ where one fan would win money if a Blades player scored twice in a home league game.

As a result of no ‘Brace Yourself’ winner for Sheffield United, Midnite started the 2026/27 ‘2UP’ prize pot at a huge £10,000, with £1,000 rolling over after every home league match.

Andrew Mook, Midnite’s head of brand marketing, said: “We have seen some brilliant moments for our partner clubs in the early stages of the season, and we’re delighted that ‘2UP’ has allowed fans to share in that success.

“Seven supporters have already won a combined £9,000 simply by seeing their team take a two-goal lead in a Championship home match, which is exactly what the initiative is all about – adding even more excitement to a matchday and giving back to the fans.

“With the prize pot growing after every home league game, there are plenty more opportunities to win big throughout the season.

“We’re showing club sponsorship by Midnite is built different.”
