Inside the studio: chemistry on full display

Behind-the-scenes clips give fans a closer look at S.Coups and Mingyu working together in the studio.

The footage captures their excitement as they record tracks for the new mini album. It also shows the professional approach they bring to the project.

S.Coups delivers his trademark intensity in the recording booth. His rap verses add a strong edge to the duo’s sound.

Mingyu brings his natural energy to his parts. His style adds another layer to the pair’s chemistry.

The two members have shared a playful relationship since SEVENTEEN’s pre-debut days. Their constant banter and teasing have made them a popular pairing among fans.

For many Carats, CxM therefore feels like a natural partnership. The official subunit turns a fan-favourite dynamic into a new musical project.

Part of SEVENTEEN’s ‘Rebirth Project’

CxM’s debut forms part of SEVENTEEN’s 10th-anniversary Rebirth Project.

The project has already featured other unit activities, including BSS (BooSeokSoon), Jeonghan & Wonwoo, and Hoshi & Woozi’s Beam.

CxM adds another style and concept to SEVENTEEN’s growing collection of subunits.

The release also keeps the group active while several SEVENTEEN members are currently serving in the military.

Meanwhile, Carats hope S.Coups and Mingyu will perform songs from HYPE VIBES during SEVENTEEN’s NEW_ World Tour.

The group’s Incheon concerts in mid-September could provide an early opportunity for fans to see the duo together on stage.

The tour will then visit Hong Kong and several cities across the United States and Japan. The scheduled dates run from late September through December.
