Grammy winner Olivia Dean and American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit will headline Lollapalooza India next year.
The music festival will return for its fifth edition on January 23 and 24, 2027.
Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai will host the event.
Lollapalooza India 2027 will bring international and homegrown artists together across four stages.
Global stars set for India debuts
Olivia Dean is known for hit songs such as “Man I Need” and “Dive”.
Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit will bring their signature nu-metal sound to Mumbai.
Fred Durst fronts the veteran American band, which is famous for songs including “Break Stuff” and “Rollin’”.
Several other international artists will also perform in India for the first time.
Global girl group KATSEYE will bring their energetic performances to the festival.
Fans can expect to hear songs such as “Gnarly” and “Hootie Frutti”.
The group earned two Grammy nominations in 2026.
Those nominations included Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
As a result, KATSEYE has quickly become one of the biggest new names in global pop music.
Meanwhile, Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer will add a nostalgic touch to the festival.
Fans may hear favourites such as “She Looks So Perfect” and “Youngblood”.
Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin make up the four-member band.
The group rose to global fame during the 2010s.
Since then, 5 Seconds of Summer has become one of Australia’s most successful pop-rock acts.
Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. will also make their India debut.
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter St. Vincent will join them on the festival line-up.
Both artists will bring their distinctive alternative and rock sounds to Mumbai.
British singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri will also perform in India for the first time.
Australian artist Ecca Vandal joins the international line-up.
Japanese DJ ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U will also make an appearance.
Chilean-American musician Alain Johannes completes the list of international artists making their India debuts.

Indian artists join the line-up
Of course, Lollapalooza India 2027 will also showcase major homegrown talent.
Singer-songwriters Anuv Jain and Aditya Gadhvi will take the stage.
Jain has become a prominent voice in India’s indie music scene.
He is known for popular tracks such as “Baarishein” and “Husn”.
Meanwhile, Gadhvi brings Gujarati folk influences to contemporary audiences.
Indian Ocean will also join the festival line-up.
The pioneering Indian fusion-rock band will perform alongside instrumental rock project Blackstratblues.
Mumbai-based singer, producer and DJ Kayan will also take the stage.
Three-time Grammy-winning composer Ricky Kej will deliver another special performance.
He will collaborate with Stewart Copeland, the drummer and co-founder of The Police.
Together, they will blend rock, orchestral music and Hindustani classical influences.

India feels like ‘home’ to artists
Lollapalooza made its India debut in Mumbai in 2023.
The event became the global festival’s first edition in Asia.
This year’s festival featured several major international acts.
American rock band Linkin Park headlined the event.
Rapper Playboi Carti also appeared on the line-up.
British rocker YUNGBLUD and R&B singer Kehlani also performed.
YUNGBLUD made his India debut during the festival.
After the show, he described his Mumbai performance as “one of the greatest nights of my life”.
He shared the message in a social media post.
In addition, YUNGBLUD expressed his desire to return to India.
Indian fans had given the singer a warm welcome.
Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze also enjoyed his first performance in India.
Kaze spoke to Rolling Stone India backstage after his set.
He said that India already felt like home.
“India makes me feel like this is my home. This is where I belong,” he said.
Meanwhile, Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda recognised the long wait for the band to perform in India.
During the headline set, Shinoda thanked Indian fans for their support.
He acknowledged fans who had repeatedly asked the band to visit India.
Musicplus.in also reported that Shinoda thanked fans for patiently waiting.
Lollapalooza India 2027 will return for its fifth edition in January.
The festival will take place on January 23 and 24 in Mumbai.
