BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa are preparing new solo projects after the group’s Deadline world tour.
The three singers will release fresh music over the coming weeks. Their solo songs and projects will arrive only days or weeks apart.
Jennie’s summer soundtrack
Jennie was the first member to announce a new solo project. She will release an EP titled Fallen Angel on August 28.
According to OA Entertainment, the digital EP will contain three tracks. These include the title track “Fallen Angel,” “Heaven” and “Less than a Lover.”
The physical edition will feature six tracks. It will also include three additional songs: “Sweettooth,” “Lockitdown” and “Face.”
Jennie hopes her fans will enjoy Fallen Angel as a soundtrack for the summer.
To tease the EP, Jennie shared a vintage-inspired poster on Instagram. She wears a cap and layers of pearls against a grainy black-and-white backdrop.
The poster also includes the line, “I’m searching, I’m searching, I’m searching for a love.” The message hints at the romantic theme of the upcoming release.
A full-length album for Jisoo?
Jisoo has also announced a new solo single. She will release “Click” on September 4.
More details about the track remain unknown. However, the singer has already given fans a glimpse of her new concept.
Jisoo released a short teaser featuring cards and teddy bears. She also changed her Instagram profile picture to promote the upcoming release.
In the new image, she wears a sleek black dress and gold accessories. She also strikes a confident pose.
Meanwhile, fans are speculating about the song’s role in her solo career. Some believe “Click” could preview Jisoo’s first full-length solo album.
The project would follow her 2025 EP Amortage. That release marked another important step in Jisoo’s solo career.
Lisa goes back to her roots
Lisa will continue the new BLACKPINK solo music wave with her six-track EP PRESS PLAY.
The project will arrive on October 23. Before then, Lisa will release its first single, “SaWaDiKa,” on September 3.
The song also connects Lisa’s global career with her Thai heritage. The title takes inspiration from the Thai greeting “sawasdee ka.”
Lisa teased the single through a seven-second clip on her Instagram Story. The preview suggests an upbeat, pop-focused sound.
She also shared a promotional poster for the release. In the image, Lisa wears a black dress while her long hair flows dramatically to one side.
From Seoul to the world
BLACKPINK debuted in South Korea in 2016. Since then, the group has achieved huge success around the world.
The members have also built successful solo careers. Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé have each explored individual music projects alongside their group activities.
BLACKPINK’s Deadline world tour further showed the group’s global popularity. The tour featured 33 shows across 16 cities worldwide.
Meanwhile, Rosé has yet to announce her next solo project. The singer recently enjoyed major global success with “APT.”, her collaboration with Bruno Mars.
The new BLACKPINK solo projects from Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa give fans plenty to anticipate. Each singer is taking a different creative direction while continuing to build on the group’s global success.
As a result, BLACKPINK’s members are entering another busy period in their individual careers. Fans can now look forward to several new releases over the coming months.
