Global girl group KATSEYE has sparked excitement across the Philippines after announcing its Wildworld Tour expansion into Asia, Australia, and New Zealand in 2027.
On Thursday, Live Nation Philippines confirmed major stops in Manila and Cebu. Fans across the country will have a chance to see the sextet perform live.
Schedule and venue
According to their Facebook post, the first concert will take place on January 29, 2027. The venue will be the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The second show will follow on February 7, 2027. It will take place at the SM Seaside City Cebu Arena.
“GET READY EYEKONS!! KATSEYE is heading your way for THE WILDWORLD TOUR!,” they wrote.
The membership presale will begin on November 10. Mastercard presale will follow on November 11.
The artist presale will then take place on November 12. General public sales will begin on November 13.
Fans quickly took to social media to celebrate the announcement. Several hashtags also began trending throughout the day.
The Philippine interest
Industry experts also noted that there has always been immense demand from the Philippine market.
Meanwhile, Filipino fans, affectionately known as Eyekons, flooded social media platforms with reactions.
“This made sense because Sophia will be resuming activities with KATSEYE in January 2027,” Christian Adrian Villarral commented on Live Nation Philippines’ post.
Champagne Calling, a 13-year-old lass and avid fan of Katseye since 2025, said she was shocked by the news.
For the past few months she had been wondering if Katseye would ever hold a concert in the Philippines.
“Ever since the announcement, I’ve been checking the details such as the ticket sales. I want to know more about the event. I really love to attend,” she shared.
“I think that would be in my Christmas wish list for now.”
As of this writing, Katseye has not yet confirmed if Sophia will be included next year, but it is certain that member Manon will not be participating.
