Oba Femi has moved on from Brock Lesnar and now has Bron Breakker in his sights.
The confrontation took place during the latest episode of WWE Raw.
The Vision’s Austin Theory first faced Akira Tozawa in a singles match.
Theory won the contest.
The Vision then attacked Tozawa after the match.
Femi soon arrived and stopped the assault.
Theory confronted Femi as The Ruler walked towards the ring.
However, Femi quickly dropped him with a no-look Big Boot.
His attention remained on Breakker.
Officials and staff then stepped in before the two heavyweights could fight.
Breakker responded with a sinister grin.
The tension between the two stars has continued to grow.
Their rivalry began after Femi defeated Lesnar at SummerSlam more than a week earlier.
Femi and the new generation
In last week’s episode, the 28-year-old Femi said that he will lead the new generation of the WWE, warning that the old guard will fall.
“And if any man has a problem with me, if any man has a problem with the one who holds the torch… you will answer to Oba Femi.”
As he was taking his exit, Femi was interrupted by The Vision, as Breakker stared down The Ruler.
Later in the night, Breakker confronted The Vision’s former manager, Paul Heyman, who also manages Lesnar.
Heyman shook Femi’s hand during the post-match segment of the SummerSlam bout, where Lesnar also hailed The Ruler as the future of the WWE.
Breakker did not like what transpired, as he called Heyman Femi’s “new best friend”.
Heyman’s respect
In the latest episode, Breakker once again spoke with Heyman, asking if he thinks Femi is the future of the company.
“I have great love for you, but personally and professionally, and truth be told, I respect Oba Femi,” a flustered Heyman replied.
“The man did everything he said he was going to do to Brock Lesnar, and I have to respect that.”
A tense Breakker said that Heyman did not answer him, as he reiterated his initial question.
“I think you’re starting to think that Oba Femi is the future of the WWE, and that’s the problem. I’ll tell you what, I’m going to keep respecting Oba Femi until you show me why Oba Femi is not worthy of my respect,” Heyman replied.
