BigHit Music, the group’s agency, confirmed the news on Friday through its X account, formerly known as Twitter.
ARMYs have waited for BTS to return since all seven members completed their military service.
The members also sent handwritten letters to their fans. Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, V, Jimin and Jungkook thanked ARMYs for their continued support.
In their letters, the members wished fans a happy New Year. They also revealed that they are working hard on their new album.
The announcement marks an important moment for the group. It will bring all seven members together for their first major group comeback since their military hiatus.
BTS’s influence is far-reaching
BTS has played a major role in spreading hallyu, or the Korean Wave, around the world.

The group’s 2022 song “Run BTS” returned to No. 1 on iTunes charts in 61 countries. BigHit Music said the list included Brazil, Finland, Mexico and Greece.
Fans used the song’s renewed success to celebrate the comeback news and welcome the New Year with BTS.
Released in June 2022, “Run BTS” focuses on perseverance, unity and the group’s journey.
